First Bossier Church New Year Recovery Update
January 1, 2019
First Bossier Family,
On this New Year’s Eve it is a strategic time to evaluate the past year of challenges and victories that we have journeyed through together and to look ahead with faith, courage and vision for all God might do in 2019.
I can’t encourage you enough to be in worship this Sunday morning at 10:45 for a special time of worship and insight as to how and what the “new normal” will look like for our ministry. As we rebound and rebuild our ministry campus there are numerous details and facets that we will be communicating this Sunday.
Specifically we will be addressing what Sundays, Wednesdays, and weekly ministry in general will look like for our FB Kids (K-5th), FirstStudents (6-12th), Connect Groups and Journey Discipleship. There are multiple other ministry dynamics at play that our staff team is navigating in an awesome way and we will communicate those details as consistently as possible over the coming weeks.
Our Schedule for This Sunday:
Sunday January 6th – No 9:15 hour. No Connect Groups Meeting. Worship at 10:45. FB Kids (K-5) will be in Main Worship Hour. Tiny Town (Birth-Pre-k) will be fully operational during the 10:45 Hour.
I love what Isaiah 43:18 says, “Look, I am about to do something new;
even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers[e] in the desert.”
Lets launch into 2019 in the power of this verse and the hope of our God!
