First Bossier Family,

Just touching base with you as we go into this coming Sunday and some new developments on the ministry front.

First, this Sunday we will get to be even more strategic during the 9:15 hour of our Connect Group Ministry. With the re-opening of the 400 Building this Sunday we have the opportunity to combine several Connect Groups (our older adult classes) and have them begin meeting in the lower level classrooms. Additionally, the parking lot behind the 400 building will be designated for our Senior Adults.

All other Adult Connect Groups will be meeting in their combined classes and specific rooms at the Civic Center (across the street from our campus) beginning this Sunday. We will continue to have shuttles available. As I have been sharing these past few Sundays we are blessed to have facilities to use during this time of transition. We all will need to be committed to loving each other, encouraging each other, helping each other, and inviting our community to join us to experience the love of God and the encouragement found in being a part of Biblical community.

Second, our FB Kids and Tiny Town ministries will continue to be operational this Sunday but will now have access to the top level of the 400 Building. Entrance C will still be the main entrance for families bringing their babies thru fifth graders for Children’s ministry at both 9:15 and 10:45. Thank you for your faithfulness to helping our children have an awesome experience every Sunday!

Third, our First Students (6th-12th grade) have been doing an awesome job on Sundays! Middle School students have really been showing up and engaging in Small Groups and Huge Shout-Out to our High School Students for coming at 9:15 to help serve in several strategic avenues.

BUT this Sunday our High School students will launch their Small Group Ministry in homes around our region. We have three that will be hosting High School Students: One in South Bossier, One in Bossier City and One in Benton. You can visit our Student page on our website for specific instructions. This avenue of ministry is going to be awesome and it will grow!

Fourth, Wednesday night February 6th, we launch our Mid-Week Ministry avenue called Journey! We will have the Journey Meal from 5-6 pm, Tiny Town and FB Kids from 6-7:15, Students (6th-12th) Worship 6-7:15, Adult classes and Worship Choir 6-7:15 and Ardis Coffee Shop from 5:30-6:30.

Finally, I’m launching a new series this Sunday called RADIANT: The 7 Churches of Revelation. Praying for you, our church, our nation for God to move in a powerful way as we rebuild and move forward for the glory of God!

Pastor Brad
