KidZone

It's about kids having a blast, being creative, interacting and learning about God in an environment that is created just for kids! KidZone exists to reach kids and communicate God's word in a simple and relevant way in order to transform lives.

Check-in Process:

Our check-in stations are available for parents to check in their children before going to their class. First time guests can complete a visitor registration form for their children on the first week you visit. After your first visit, you will be able to use the check-in stations to check-in your children. Safety is a high priority in KidZone. We ask that all parents please present their yellow copy receipt (from the check-in station) when you pick up your child.

What Happens at Kidzone?

Kids are challenged every Sunday on Kidzone to trust God, make wise choices, and build lasting friendships. Here's what a typical morning in KidZone looks like.

At 9:30

Welcome: Each child is greeted at their classroom by their small group leader. Kids participate with their small group in an activity meant to introduce the one TRUTH, or bottom line, we want kids to walk away with and remember that morning.

Large Group Environment: Shortly after arriving, kids are moved to their large group environment where they hear the Bible story. We use costumes, props, and characters from the story - anything that makes the Bible come to life. We also carve out time each week for kids to sing as loud as they want and tell God how much they love Him.

Small Group Environment: After participating in Large Group, kids travel back to their small group classroom where their leaders help them understand how the day's bottom line can fit into their everyday life. Small group leaders in KidZone are serious about having fun with kids and passionate about teaching the TRUTH. We want kids to see how God's word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last. Every Sunday they connect with the same small group of kids and the same small group leader. That way they get connected and we have the best chance to establish a relationship that's going to matter when they need it most.

The Small group Environment continues: The Kidzone small group leaders continue to engage kids in application activities that helps kids understand how how God’s word will change their life. They also have the opportunity to play in Tiny Town, the biggest indoor play structure in the area.

Curriculum

We use curriculum from 252Basics. The curriculum is built around the Three Basic Truths:

1. Wisdom: I need to make the wise choice.

2. Faith: I can trust God no matter what.

3. Friendship: I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

The Three Basic Truths are amplified through 36 monthly virtues (such as kindness, generosity and faith) and 150 Bible stories. Every week there is a key TRUTH or bottom line that we drive home. It's the ONE THING we want kids to understand and grab onto during their time in KidZone
