Faith in Action
Radically committed men serving Christ, family, church,
and the workplace.
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:1-2
Through one to one discipleship, small group Bible Studies, prayer groups and fellowships, FBB's Men's Ministry is focused on exhorting and strengthening men to become spiritual leaders in their homes, workplace, and community.
"...and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."
2 Timothy 2:2
We seek to provide ways for men to develop their spiritual gifts and give them opportunities to bring lost friends to Christ through a variety of fellowships, Bible studies, ministry teams, conferences, Faith in Action events and mission trips.
When men begin honoring God with their hearts and lives surrendered to the Lord, families are changed. And when families are changed, the values and beliefs a father lives daily become a priceless legacy.
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Friday Morning Men Join us every Friday 6:15-7:30am and/or Wednesday 6-7pm in Rm 404 for a study of God's Word with other men in an environment of Truth, Unity, and Faith that will provide a tool for Spiritual Development that leads to a greater realization of our Calling as Christian Men.

Faith in Action:

Men of Courage's Group activity of putting our Faith in Action-being the Hands & Feet of Jesus!

Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. Hebrew 13:16

Now being filled with Joy, overflowing, the our Men of Courage want to do something…

Guys like to use their hands!  Faith in Action is any activity that our Men of Courage plan to do as a group.  Searching for needs in the community and then filling those needs - FOCUSED ON THE LORD!  These activities are deliberatly planned to be a Discipleship activity for the men (they are following the Lord in doing this because they Love Him) as well as an Evangelistic effort to the ones being served so they can see Christ in the effort.

Being deliberate about the Discipleship effort includes things like:

·         Prayer gatherings days and even weeks before the activity, asking the Lord to bless the effort to His Glory.

·         Having a Cross to display at all activities away from the church to clearly show, even to people passing by, who is at work there.

·         Then after the activity, we gather and discuss how we were blessed by the activity.  Our Men of Courage do this at the church afterward in a relaxed setting and let each speak if they wish to testify how the Lord spoke to and blessed them in this service.

This leads to more and more FIA ideas coming forward if it is cultivated by the Leadership.  Some will come by a specific calling a man receives, which leads us to the next area - Kingdom Purpose.
