We ask that all potential members of FBB read, agree and sign our membership Covenant.
It reads as follows:
I have trusted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and been baptized by immersion (or will be at the next opportunity). I enthusiastically support First Baptist Church’s purpose and strategy, and I desire to become a committed and sincere follower of Christ. Knowing within the body of Christ we should be committed to each other, as we are to the Lord Jesus I commit to:
- Share in the responsibility of my church by:
- Praying for her growth and health
- Welcoming those who visit
- Inviting the unchurched to attend
- Sharing my salvation story

- Support the testimony of my church by:
- Attending faithfully
- Living a Christlike life
- Giving Regularly
- Participating in a Bible Study group

- Serve in the Ministry of my church by:
- Becoming equipped to serve
- Developing a servant’s heart
- Discovering and developing my spiritual gifts

- Protect the Unity of my church by:
- Acting in love toward one another
- Refusing to gossip
- Supporting the leadership
