Babies through fifth grade

First Kids

First Kids gives babies through fifth graders a welcoming place to learn, participate, and spend Sunday with children their own age.

01

A place for every age

Known, cared for, and ready to participate.

From babies through fifth grade, children are grouped with age peers so the environment and activities can fit their stage of life.

Every First Kids staff member and volunteer is background checked and trained to care for children.

02

Sunday and midweek

Know when First Kids is available.

First Kids is available at no cost during Connection Classes and Sunday worship. Connection Classes generally run from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, while Sunday First Kids check-in remains open from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.

During the school year, First Kids care is available for all midweek events. Summer has a limited midweek schedule, and care is not always offered, so check the individual event before attending.

Arriving and picking up

A clear first step for new families.

Check-in is at the door to the First Kids area. Enter through Entrance A for directions and help, or use Entrance C for direct access to the First Kids entrance and check-in table.

At check-in, your child receives a printed tag with a distinct code. You or another authorized pickup person keeps the matching label and must present it when collecting your child.

04

Prepared to care

Share what your child needs.

Families can share allergies and routine care instructions with the team during check-in.

First Kids does not currently have a dedicated special-needs volunteer. If your child may need individualized support, contact the church before your visit and ask for Wendy Walker or Megan Cox. They can talk with you about your child's needs and whether appropriate care can be provided.

Cry room

Prefer to keep your baby with you?

A cry room connected to the worship area gives parents a place to keep babies with them and watch the service without remaining in the main worship room.
